Choosing the Right Trainer

Looking for a dog trainer who understands the unique bond between you and your furry companion?

Choose a trainer who prioritizes balanced, humane, and science-backed methods tailored to fit the needs of both you and your dog. Here’s why our approach stands out:

Customized Training for Every Dog and Owner: Every dog-owner relationship is unique, and our first session, is designed to get to know your specific situation. We focus on understanding your dog’s temperament and yours, ensuring the training is personalized for long-term success in areas like basic manners, leash walking, and behavior management. Our goal is to make sure your dog responds to you—not just the trainer.

Balanced, LIMA-Compliant Techniques: We follow the Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) approach, prioritizing positive reinforcement while using non-physical techniques as necessary for safety and communication. Our methods rely on clear, consistent signals through voice tone, body language, and reinforcement. We work at your comfort level, ensuring that training is effective without causing stress to you or your dog.

Fast Results, Built on Trust: While every dog progresses at their own pace, many of our clients see noticeable improvements even after the first session. Common results include better door manners, staying out of the kitchen, and improved focus on walks—all through a combination of positive reinforcement and clear boundaries, not force or intimidation.

Support for Lasting Success: After each session, we provide detailed instructions and guidance to help solidify new behaviors. Consistent practice and clear communication are key to reinforcing what your dog has learned, ensuring results that last.

Educational and Engaging: Training should be enjoyable for both you and your dog. Our sessions are designed to be informative, engaging, and fun, making the learning process positive and rewarding for both sides of the leash.

Choose a trainer who blends understanding, connection, and effective communication. With our balanced, humane approach, you'll experience the joy of a well-behaved companion and build a stronger bond in the process.

How long does it take?
It depends on your dog,but in most cases, you will see significant
improvements after the first session.

Typically, dogs will learn to stay back from the front door when it is
answered, stay out of the kitchen when food is present, and stay focused on you even when distracted.

These results are achieved without the use of treats, coercion, or force. We do give our dogs treats, Mimi will agree!

Some dogs may take a bit longer, but the process is always much faster than expected.

Before you know it, you'll have a better dog!
